We all know that "every day is earth day" but today we specially honor the intention to take better care of our biosphere. Bottom line truth is that it is our creativity and inventiveness that has caused us to be an overburden on our ecosystems, and it will need to be our creativity and inventiveness that will dig us out of the hole(s) we dig.
Clearly, this is a situation that demands we utilize creative process and design thinking to find the new living patterns that allow for environmental - human harmony. In many cases, the solutions exist, but have not been widely adopted. We have not thought creatively about how to sell them through our cultural bureaucracy. We need to be inventive about how we "sell" the solutions that have already been developed into or cultures. We took a poke at describing the creative "pitch" process from the point of view of the environment a ways back, looking at a hydrogen economy. While the content we used was not robust, because we are not content experts on they issues of hydrogen fuel, the process we describe is mature and wise.
