Building off of the Newsweek article on the Creativity Crisis, the Charlie Rose Show recently did a panel interview in the topic. The 23 minute piece features Ashley Merryman (co-author of the Newsweek article), musicologist Aaron Berkowitz of Harvard University and Bruce Alberts, two-term president of the National Academy of Sciences.
It's refreshing to see the focus of national media turning to the topic of creativity, what it is, and how to develop more of it in our educational system. Our hat (thinking cap) is off to Ms. Merryman for highlighting the value of Creative Problem Solving (which N&I sometimes refers to as the "Creative Process").
